Gettin' Crunk At Cruisefest
Since
we first hit Cruisefest Nationals up four years ago, its been a must attend every
year since then. Most of the time Darrel, the promotor, has to move the show every
year due to the rowdiness that happens at his event. Sometimes the town doesnt
see it in the same eyes we all do, but no matter where this show goes to, you
can count on DropJaw being there. This year was no different, with the show being
moved to Lucasville, OH it was actually a shorter drive for us than normal. Although,
the shorter drive didnt do us any good cause the big rig in the mountains tends
to move a little slow to begin with. We arrived on Thursday night and went ahead
and got everything set up cause this is a full fledged 3 day show. Thursday night
there was already a field full of campers set up in "The Zoo". The Zoo
is where the party continues into the wee hours of the morning, long after the
actual show is shut down. To be honest, I dont know if this show ever does shut
down. Friday, the showers and partiers lined up down the road to get into Cruisefest
and the festivities began very early. People were already drunk before noon struck
and everyone was already starting to get crazy.
