Draggin' Detroit..........presented by Vertically Challenged
I want to apologize first and foremost for us not having coverage up shortly after the show as we normally do. The week after we returned from Detroit our main computer that had all the images still on it, took a flying dump and we lost everything. Of course we have had to deal with things like this off and on since the creation of DropJaw but this time we actually lost 2 significant shows. One was Draggin' Detroit and the other was actually one of DropJaw's shows. Since then we have been gathering coverage from different people that were at the show taking pictures. I felt like we had finally had enough coverage so here it is. I want to give credit to Dr. Tom, Jamie, Matt, Melissa, Sam and we had about 30 or so pictures still on the camera. as always with Draggin' Detroit, we had a great time. The parking lot was packed out both days as it always is, plus the hot rod/classic show that happens in the joining lot gave everyone plenty to check out. Ryan and the Verically Challenged crew did a great job of organizing the show and having plenty for people to do while they were there. The bikini contest was a crowd favorite and there was also a huge stereo show going on all weekend as well. The show is held every year at one of MI's largest indoor flea markets so once people were finished checking out the show, they headed into the market for some deals. We hit the market up every year to see what's new and see if there is anything in there that we can't live without. Overall though, the show was off the chain and seems to grow more popular every year. It was also the setting for our 4th DropJaw Magazine cover. We got together with S-10 owner Nicole and '67 Caddy owner Erin to get one of our hottest covers ever. For one, the rides were girls rides and were very hot and second it was shot way up here in Taylor, MI. We like to spread where we shoot our covers at over the entire East Coast. Plus they were representin' DropJaw's newest group...Chic Clique. Be sure to check out the 4th issue of the magazine to see these hot northern rides featured. Thanx to everyone up north who gave us some sweet stuff to shoot....sorry most of it didnt make it. Very special thanx to the guys and girls who sent in their coverage...without you there wouldnt be any coverage.
