SCAM KINGS present The Screwover of the Year
We usually hit up Fayetteville, NC for a few different events throughout the year. We came out to this one that Street Kings/Yo Yo Productions was holding because they had hired Lowered Atmosphere to judge the show and we needed something to fill the gap that weekend. It looked as though it would be a normal show like every other one we hit up throughout the year but come time for awards.....they didnt have any. The excuse was that someone had stolen the trophies the night before or something. Ok....stolen trophies. This is a new one for us and I think everyone that wasthere had never heard such a thing. For one, why would you say that someone stole the trophies when we know good and damn well that those trophies were never built or purchased. Who in their right mind would steal trophies....is there a black market for these things. Not that we've ever heard of. Needless to say, they told all the people showing that they would send their awards out to them...knowing that it would never happen. Lame excuse for a lame show. Usually we wouldnt talk junk about even the worst of shjows but this was a scam we think from the beginning. There has been no contact from the promoters to anyone who was at the show including LA who also didnt get paid for the judging they did. So as of right now...Street Kings/Yo Yo productions or whatever its called is NOT a legit promotions group until they make things right. Be warned!!!
