The 7th Annual Big Show....presented by DropJaw & Rockingham Dragway
This is the 7th straight year for The Big Show and there is no sign of this show slacking up any time soon. It just keeps getting better and better. This year there were a few new things that were added to the show to make it strive. The main thing was the judging system and the way the vehicles got judged. In the past we have always had great results at the awards but we decided to take it a step farther. We introduced the drive-thru tent for everyone who entered the show. I know some people may be against this for one reason or another but the main reason being that they would not be able to display their rides. We solved this problem by having a display only section in the show field for anyone that wanted to show off what they got. For everyone else, the judging tent provided a perfect place to be able to drive under, open the rides up and give the judges plenty of time to check the vehicle out without having to be in the blazing sun. It also solves the issue that always happens of people getting skipped or over looked. This usually happens when someone leaves their spot to cruise or hit up the stereo contest and the judges come by while they are doing so. This way, YOU decide when you get judged and you dont have to sit around waiting for the judge to come by your ride. Freedom is what we offer by doing it this way. Freedom is what built The Big Show name to start with. Freedom and having something to do all day. This being said, the show also offers all weekend cruisin', burnout contest both days, a huge draggin' contest (presented by Sikness Video), plenty of vendors to shop and a stage show that keep'em talking all year. To name a few things that happen this weekend....the puddle of water that always seems to be in the middle of the parking lot somehow became the hot picture spot, there was a marriage proposal on the stage Sunday before the awards, there were a couple cover trucks representin' at the show (one of which won Best of Show Truck), The Family had some major dood booty representation, The Spiveys brought out their hot T-Bird for the first time to a DropJaw show and won Best of Show Car and Drop'em Wear's Harv and DropJaw Cutie Keetha annouced their togetherness.....thus connecting  DropJaw and Drop'em Wear together even more by holding hands....awwww puddin'. We all wish you guys the best, and Keetha....now you have to deal with the puppet show on your own. All in all, the show had a different feel to it....still great but everyone was getting to cruise and hangout a little more because they didnt have to sit around and wait to get judged. Thanx to everyone who came out and participated in the 7th Annual Big Show....we will be back next year harder than ever.
