RNR Custom Wheels & Performance Tires
The gates opened at noon on Friday. As the day goes on, the vendors set up their stands and vanners from all over New England, New York, PA and Canada set up their campsites for a weekend of fun. While all this is going on, a band is playing at the outdoor stage. Just a preview of what the weekend would be like. Slowly the grounds fill up with vans, trailers and tents. As the night approaches, vanners start coming out of their campsites and coming together on vendors row. Everyone is standing around talking and enjoying each others company, for they have not seen one another for a few weeks and now it is time to catch up. As the night rolls on, people start to go back to their campsites to start the day again in the morning. Satuday morning the host club is up early to start the games with the kids so the parents can sleep after a night of partying with long time friends. As the games are played, the show guys get their vans ready for the show. While walking around the fairgrounds you see vanners having breakfast at the vendors and vans being washed and shined up for the show.  At noon the vans line up for the show while the adults play human foss ball, a great game. All day long there is plenty to do to keep the vanners busy. There are games to watch, the van show to see and plenty of vendors to to buy things from. As the sun goes down, everyone is back at their campsites cooking supper and getting ready for awards. The first awards given out are for the kid games, then the adult games and then the show. Following awards all the vans line up for the light show on vendors row. Meanwhile back at the stage there is a new band playing and in between band breaks there is a pie eating contest that happens. The bands usually play till early hours in the morning all the while everyone hangs out and gets their last night of partying in before they head home. Some campsites have a happy hour and other set up bars. It is a long night of partying and hanging out. Once Sunday rolls around, it is time for everyone to pack up, say their good bys and start their trips back home....until next time, Keep Vannin'.
