Introduction--First off I guess an appropriate introduction to what The Daily Grind is, would be a good start to this section of DropJaw. We wanted to basically create a journal for the day to day grind that we go through doing DropJaw and pretty much life in general. It will give DropJaw a voice on a daily basis....or as much on a daily basis as I can. Of course we are at shows on the weekend and there will be days that will be so hectic that I wont be able to make a post but I will update this as much as possible. We have been wanting to do this section for about 2 months now and this is the first opportunity that I have gotten to create it. You will hear me talk alot about just about everything. Just like show politics which is something that we run across quite often and as much as I hate crap like that in our scene, I never get a chance to speak on it and now I will. Club stuff is something that we run across very often and this will be a voice for that too. Also what comes along with this section is the links that you see up top....the wall papers which is something we've been waiting to do for years and the representin' sections. They are split up into Tatoos.....our's of course, What 2 Wear....our clothing, Sticky.....our decals and probably the coolest section, Originally Representin'. The original section is for anything that is DropJaw that you didnt buy from us. We have seen cool self made decals, displays and even rides that have DropJaw or our shows spray painted on them. All of these sections will be open for anyone to send in their representin' pics whether its our stuff or original stuff and we will be going through our older pics too and adding updates to all of these sections. If you have something you want up here just email it to me at TheJawDropper@aol.com. As for the wall papers, we will be adding these as we get them done. So we hope you guys enjoy this new section of DropJaw.......Represent!! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
--October 1--This Daily Grind is becoming more monthly than anything but its damn sure not because we havent been doing anything over this way. For one, Freak Show has been something that has kept us busy as hell over this way but with two people putting on the second largest show on the east coast, it can get a little hectic. We've done some flyer designing and some DropJaw designing as well. But the real thing that has kept us the busiest is the fact that we are dropping our paperback magazine at Freak Show. And believe me, this thing has me working day and night. Just so you know, this will not be just a picture mag that only has a bunch of images in it but we are adding some really cool editorials to this that me, Big Mike and Patti Dukes will have something to do with. We will have things in the mag that you wont see anywhere else as well. Coming out as the under-dog and the little guys in a big corporate world, we have to have something that will give us that edge as we always have had. Of course we have to keep this magazine very DropJawish so expect nothing less than that as we will deliver nothing less than that. Anyone wishing to be a part of the first issue and wanting to get a spot in the mag needs to hit up Mike at DropJawMagazine@aol.com at your earliest convience as we do have a deadline. Or you can give Mike a call at 252-258-1122. Besides that, get your shit together for the freakiest of all freaks....Freak Show 7. We will be bringing nothing but the best to this event and along with the magazine debuting there, we will also be selling the Freak Show event shirts at our booth and will have about 5 new designs waiting for you guys. Keep it pimp guys but most important....Keep It Real. See ya at the show. --August 17--OK OK OK.........so its been two freakin' months since I have posted on The Daily Grind. I dont really have much of an excuse but what I am getting ready to write up here on this post. First off, we have been to numerous shows all over the place from Detroit to South Carolina, New York to Tennessee and back to NC. We have even done two shows of our own....the Summer Cruize Tour which was held in Merrell's Inlet, SC, Lumberton, NC and Charleston, SC where we did a different show each day from Friday to Sunday and cruized to each spot after the show was over each day. Very busy but very fun weekend and we had quite a few people that cruized with us the whole weekend and did some motel partying with us too. The very next weekend we had a show in Roanoke Rapids, NC called The I-95 Roll Up. This show was held with a judging system where you could actually talk with the judges and tell them about your ride and also ask them questions about your scores to better your knowledge of why you score certain points for each division. Pretty cool for the beginning guys that wanted to get a little more educated of how judges work at shows. Of course everyone judges different but we have been judging rides since 1990.....damn I'm old. The cool think about both of these shows is they were both to help raise money for certain charities. We have been wanting to do some charity shows for quite some time now and we are finally getting to the point of having time to plan and hold these awesome one day events, to give you all something to do on those dry weekends and of course to help raise money. We are gonna be doing alot more smaller shows around the area so be lookin' out for them. We still are working on the profiles and forums for the site, working the kinks out still. It looks great and we are so close to launching this thing so be lookin' out for that too. Big Mike is back full time with the company and with us working side by side everyday, there will be some results coming out of all this. And of course standing beside us through this all are two very understanding better halves that want to see our dreams come true as much as we do so it helps alot having that kind of support. Otherwise we would probably be alone because this is a ruthless business that keeps us away from home alot more than any other people that I know. The only people that personally go to shows every weekend like DropJaw does is DropEm Wear. No magazine, online magazine, air companies, wheel companies or anything are at as many shows......WE REPRESENT!! We have been very thankful here also to have found some people throughout the years that are willing to go out and represent with us. Currently on board with us on the weekends is of course Animated's Lil B (Brian) and LA's Brent who do the damn thing at the shows. They keep the booth live and hold down the fort while I'm in the field shooting you guys rides. They are also very close friends of mine so it makes for some pretty fun weekends. So that is in a nut shell what has been going on lately. I'm sure theres some stuff that I have left out but i'm sure it'll come back to me. I promise it wont be no 2 months before I write up here again....it'll be soon enough. Keep Pimpin' and Represent!! --June 19--Since I have last wrote, I have added Cruisefest Nationals in OH, The Big Show in NC, Cinco De Mayo in NC and Unite in FL. We have also attended the OC Car Show in Maryland and Scrapin' The Smokies in North Carolina. We are headed out this weekend to Scrapin' The Coast in Mississippi and cant wait....this show is always off the hook and with the recent death of the Greenville, MS show, it should be much larger in numbers. Not that it needed it because they always pull a huge number of very hot dirty south rides and have an awesome night event with a drag contest and stage show with ladies included. Even with the hurricane happening down there before, it really didnt hurt the show even then. This is one that is very much worth the drive no matter where you are coming from. We travel 15 hours to get to this one....trust us, its good. My brother Mike and Lil B hit up the OC show in MD and got some sweet shots of some northern rides, be lookin' for that coverage probably next week. The Scrapin' The Smokies show was even better this year with the new location change. It put the show in a great open area, large enough to expand in throughout the years. The show more than doubled from last year with Brandon and the crew bringing out 325+ rides to the NC mountains. The drag contest was great and we got some really good shots. The town is also behind this show so its lookin' like its not going anywhere. Slammin' and Jammin' coverage is coming up this week before I leave out and as always, theres alot of it. It sucks because I never get everything at SNJ but I do everything I can to get as much as possible. Even still, there will be no lack of anything with this coverage. Before that though, I am currently working on Freak Show's Info Center and VIP sign up section. We have had alot of request already from as far away as Ohio, wanting to go ahead and purchase their VIP Pass. So I cant put it off any longer, the VIP section and most of the Info Center should be completed in a couple days. Just for those of you who might be interested and for those who were VIP last year, we heard everything that you said last year. We have a whole batch of new goodies for this year's VIP. For one, there will NOT be a truck in your way on that side of the stage. Last year we had Skitzophrenia, the bed dancer do a performance on stage and then back his truck up.....but it didnt go far enough back and some of the VIP stage side way blocked. This year, not only are we not gonna have a vehicle in your way at all, but we are gonna give you your side of the stage and also make a bridge that will allow you to take steps up onto the stage, walk across the stage and walk down the steps on the other side to the media pit to enjoy the show from anywhere. There is also gonna be a Friday afternoon Southern Style Pig Picking for all VIPs and the kegs will be tapped then and will keep pouring free beer until 2am or until no one is left. Then Saturday, the VIP Lounge will be in the building that is right in the middle of the show vendors, right across from the stage and will open up at 2pm and will stay open there until the VIP at the stage opens up at 8pm. This will give the VIPs an area during the day to get out of the heat and grab a free beer or three and chill while enjoying some Freak Show entertainment provided by the girls of Freak Show. And the VIP will also stay open Saturday night at the stage until 2am or until no one is left. Anyway, be lookin' out for that in a couple days. I wanted to post again about our Profile and Members section because I know it has been awhile. When we first started this, we had someone that had come to us and promised us the world.....only to let us down once again. This Profile and Membership thing is something we have wanted to do for some time now so we of course were amped about it and very much lookin' foward to it. When we got let down by that guy, we didnt think that we had a chance because it is tough to find someone that is willing to help us out without demanding a crapload of money up front. Well, our new guy Tim that is working on it now, strangly enough came into the picture within a couple weeks of us realizing that the first guy wont gonna work out. And he is on it......we are currently testing the Profile pages ourselves, working out any kinks and adding new things you dont find on other profile pages. Our profile section will look totally like DropJaw and will always be innovative as we always are on DropJaw. As for our Membership section, we are also working on this too. I want to tell you guys out there a little something about this whole process that we are doing with the Profile & Membership sections and what it has evolved to. First off, there will be free memberships to anyone wanting to get one and we will also be offering paid memberships to those who want to go a step further. As with anything that we do here at DropJaw, the paid memberships will be very much worth any level you decide to get and you will ALWAYS get your money's worth. The website will not change at all....everything will be as it is, being free and all. Whether people believe it or not, DropJaw is still a very broke company that lives week to week as most hard working people out there do. It is a constant struggle for us to just get to shows every week and have enough staff on hand to make things happen before and after events. Me and Lil B are the only fulltime employees that DropJaw has. Big Mike of course is half owner of the company and does alot of the behind the scene stuff but he still works a regular job because DropJaw does not provide enough money for him to be employed fulltime. And thats it, Kris cuts decals for us and J.R. edits our videos but they get paid per job. We have racked our brains for the past two years trying to figure out how to generate a little more money for the company so things would run a little smoother. Alot of you may have heard us say that we were thinking about charging a membership fee of $10 per year for people to come see the site and everything that we offer you all on dropjawmag.com but it never set well with us. I would hate to know that even one person couldnt or wouldnt be able to see the coverage that we offer because of money. Money isnt that important to us.....you guys out there that support us is everything. We could sell our stuff for more money at our booth or online but I wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing that I made more than I think I should off of one of our friends.....therefore the stuff we offer online and at our booth is the cheapest in the scene, not because its crap but because we are just like you guys and know what a good deal is. Hell, you can barely buy a new blank t-shirt for $10 bucks and great quality videos at $15 bucks is almost unheard of. So what we decided to do was give you a choice in whether you want to help us out and offer these memberships to you people out there that support DropJaw and want help us grow and be the strongest voice in the scene. That way we arent forcing anything on anyone. Any and everything we do here is to better the show scene, inform the show scene and innovate the show scene to make it better as a whole. Who else do you know out there that is doing anything but for themselves, other than people and companies like Suicide Doors who are from the scene. Hell, there are even people out there that are from the scene that have let the money blind them and forget what this is all about.....you, the people that make it all possible. I can promise you this, any help that we receive in the future from sponsors, memberships or whatever, that may make us the company that we want to be in the show scene, it will show through to help all of us. The magazine we want to come back with will be a voice for all of you to tell the "Real Deal" about any and everything, and as DropJaw always does, it will represent every culture and style of the Modern Custom Show Scene. It will be the blank filler that we have needed for some time now. It will be very non-corporate and probably start underground for awhile to see the response and what people think. We always test anything that we do here and if it doesnt work one way, we fix it and try it another way. Anyway, I have mouthed off way too much in this post and am wasting sweet time to get stuff updated for you guys so I will sign off now and leave you with this.....we are here for you, Representin' The Modern Custom Show Scene. --June 8--Ok, so the Daily Grind has become more of the monthly grind but as with alot of things, I created this in the off season and we are now right in the middle of the full blown show season. I know, excuses excuses but really it seems like we all have been swamped round here. Since this is what I do here on this page, I will tell you what has been happening lately with me, the crew, DropJaw and what has happened in the scene so far. Well as we all know, the price of gas is off the charts for most but it seems like this has not really effected the shows that we have been to. As a matter of fact, most of the shows have grown even larger than the years before. We have been to some great shows so far but as have lost some shows as it seems we have the past few years. There are some clubs around our way that are coming back out with their shows for this year.....Deviant Creations is coming back with their show Phat Rides and its gonna be held at the original Freak Show location at the mall in Tarboro, NC. They even have access to the old Roses building that we had our nighttime events in. They are offering alot of indoor space for this one as well as plenty of outside spots. DropJaw is choosing the inside this time just to get out of the sun for a weekend. We also are gonna be staying at the Budget Inn in Tarboro so we can get our late night party on Friday and Saturday night. This will be one not to miss.....these guys are going the distance with this show this time. And Lowered Atmosphere is bringing back Carolina Showoff in Fayetteville, NC which has been a great show for years now. I remember hittin' this one up back in the first year of DropJaw and partying at the motel afterwards. This will be one not to miss as well and yes, we will be throwing down at the motel this time too. I have seen somewhat of an increase in new shows that car clubs are putting on and its good to see. Clubs are the reason the show scene exist to begin with so keep these new shows coming. Speaking about new shows, DropJaw has a couple of its own. First, we are finally doing what we have heard you guys talk about for years, Summer Cruize Tour. It has taken a few weeks but we have just got our stop in Lumberton, NC that we have been lookin' for. I drove up and scouted out the area and got some help from True Playaz and with LA's Dennis with narrowing down the places that were in question. To do a run down, we are gonna start off at Hooters on Friday right outside of Myrtle Beach with the first show, after the trophies are given we are all heading out together to cruize to the motel at South of the Border to bed down for the night. Cruize and hangout that night and then hit up Lumberton, Nc the next day for the show at the Total Elite Fitness. At 4:30 we are all heading out together to cruize to Charleston, SC to the motel and then Saturday night hangout at Colortyme where there are usually 100 or more rides on a regular night. Then to end it up, we are having the final show at Colortyme on Sunday where we will be giving out awards for those who have been at that show and every show for the weekend. There are some cash awards that will be given out for the Club Participation for the largest club at all three shows and for the Best of Show of all three shows. We will be raising money for charity the entire weekend, Kids Across America, and are hoping to be able to donate a load of cash. Also, Colortyme is having a raffle on Sunday for a set of wheels and tires up to 20s or just the rims in 22s or 24s. If you win the raffle, you could actully go in the store there, pick out the wheels and tires and roll out of the parking lot that day with new bling. Pretty sweet huh? The other show we have going on is The I-95 Roll Up being held in Roanoke Rapids, NC which is the car, truck, bike and classic show part of the NSPL World Finals and the Meca and DB Drag triple points event. So not only will this be a huge audio event but we are bringing the car show part of it with the weekend cruizin' that DropJaw usually has at it's events. This is gonna be a drive thru judged show but, before you get you panties in a bunch, there will be a display area for those who want to display and have their ride walk around judged. But, for those of you who hit up the drive thru line there will be something a little different going on at this show that you will probably never see at any other show. When you open up your ride, you will be able to communicate with the judges and tell them what is done to your ride in every area but the added bonus to this is that you will actually be able to see and discuss the points that you score with your ride. What this will do, is for the people out there that never really know why they didnt win at a show or why they didnt score higher than the next guy, the judges will be able to tell them what their weak points and strong points are with their ride. So basically, you are going on the the flip side of judging that you are usually not permitted anywhere near at shows and are shown why or why not you are scoring what you want. The judging will be headed up by Big Mike from DropJaw who has been judging and training judges for well over 10 years now in the scene and a pick of Jaw Dropper Promotion's top judges that have been helping us out for years with our shows. This show is also being done for charity, Relay For Life, and DropJaw and all the sponsors of the audio show hope to raise plenty of money to be able to hand down. Be lookin' out for more on these new up and coming DropJaw events. We are fresh out of The Big Show this past weekend held at The Rock in Rockingham, NC and even though the weather sucked for the most part of the weekend, it was a huge success and grew even bigger than last year's show. The draggin' king contest had well over 30 draggers participating and the burnout king contest was the largest ever. Largest Representin' Club stayed with the defending champs....Performance EFX. We have already had a meeting about next year's show and there are changes and additions that will are being made to make everything even bigger and better than this year. We always strive each year for our shows to be better than the previous years. And of course there is Freak Show......coming back a weekend later than any year before and claiming Halloween weekend. We always held our distance from that weekend out of mutual respect for Chuck and the crew from Booger Bash because that was always the weekend that it was held. We figured though that it had been long enough and have really wanted this weekend for years now because of the whole Halloween twist that we can put on Freak Show so now....here it is. Halloween Edition Freak Show complete with all the not so normal events that usually happen there along with a costume contest, sexy costume contest, pumpkin games on Sunday in the pit and what I think will prove to be an awesome addition, the Pumpkin Carving Contest. We are gonna be lining the pumpkin entries up on the stage on Sunday in front of the trophies so the front of the stage should look pretty hot with the pumpkins lined up all the way across with the bling behind it. Anywho, as for the reason I am behind so bad right now is because I got hit up all at once with these shows that we are having, having to design three flyers of ours, getting sponsors and locations and not to mention the build up and preping for the Big Show. We also had an unusually large amount of flyers that came in for us to design and get out for everyone at a certain time so that they could promote their shows as quickly as possible. And of course having to leave almost every week on Thursday to hit up the show that weekend. I also have to squeeze in some personal time with my family in there somewhere and when you add it all up together you get.....behind as always!! So I will get off here for now and get back to work on the next show to hit the webstand....Cruisefest. Big Show is on deck. Smell ya lata.....G --May 19--Well, it is sure the beginning of the show year because as always, I am a little behind already. Its only a show or so behind but still. I have like 6 flyers to design as well as general website updates, a couple of DropJaw Cutie updates and some info centers for the Summer Cruize Tour and the newest addition to the DropJaw Show Circuit this year, the Roanoke Rapids show that is going on the weekend after the Summer Cruize Tour. We are still coming up with a name for this one but to give a little info on it.....its being held in conjunction with the NSPL World Finals and we are doing the car show part of it. This is a good thing right now because we are minus a Virginia show so this is the closest we could come this year. Atleast its right on the border. Alot of people might be like damn...you guys are having a show on back to back weekend but really, the shows are a whole state away basically. We will be staying around the SC-NC border for the Summer Cruize Tour and the NC-VA border for the Roanoke I-95 show. Both are gonna be off the hook by the way because we wouldnt have it any other way. This is the shit that we love to do most....host phat events and go into unchartered territorys and explore different styles of shows, cruizes and events. Hell, the first Winter Cruize Tour was put together in a couple weeks with the first one being a 3 day notice and you guys have made that the hottest thing to do in the off season and winter time. it was created solely because all of us had absolutely nothing to do in the winter. The Summer Cruize Tour has been something that we have heard people talk about for years and years now and finally we have come up with this idea of making it one bigass 3 day weekend of nothing but cruizin, showing and hangin' out with friends. For those that want to enter one or all of the shows, there will be a price per show or an overall price for all three shows including an event shirt. The price for the whole weekend thing will be sweet....we aint trying to hit no one in the head. The cool thing about the SCT is the fact that we will be cruizin' together from city to city each day after the shows. Be looking out for the info center for this one at the beginning of the week. And the Roanoke show will be released next week also. And of course, Freak Show flyers will be at The Big Show. Speaking on The Big Show, the Clubs Coming list has been updated with all you guy's clubs. We are pumped about The Big Show this year also, with it being our second year at Rockingham it is gonna be even better than last year. The guys at this track are as cool as it gets. They want you to have fun and will go the extra mile to make sure you do. Rockingham Dragway and DropJaw are a great combo and will have many many years together with this show. You guys have made it We're gonna get the party started early this year so dont miss out. The boys are down in Florida this weekend at the HotRidesMag.com show....Unite. Its lookin' like this is gonna be a Florida powerhouse so we will see the results after this weekend. I'll be seeing everyone next weekend at Slammin' and Jammin' in our usual spot and Big Mike and possible Big Trip are gonna be there rockin' the house on the mic and will have the DropJaw Beer Pong table there for any challengers that are feeling frogy. Come by the booth and get it on anytime during the weekend. --May 7--We have just gotten back from Jacksonville, FL for the Southeastern Nationals that we havent been to in 2 years and it was nice to get back down to Florida once again. Its always a great place to go with the awesome weather and people that are always there. I have to say though, there are alot of bums in Jacksonville as we found out once we were there. It didnt matter where we went, they were there asking for money or asking if we wanted to buy drugs and anything else that they could come up with. In the motel parking lot Friday night, there was this guy that came up while we were chillin' with the Underground Scene and HotRidesMag crew and asked if we wanted to buy some pills. Of course we sent him on his way and then about 15 minutes later 3 undercover cops were in the parking lot asking about where he went off to. I guess this is a pretty popular dood around that way because they had a couple of cop cars lookin' for him too. We were talking to Lee and his crew about the Unite show that is coming up in a couple weeks. This should be a great show and the buzz in the scene is that there are gonna be alot of people attending this one. We are looking foward to hittin' this show up as it is looking like its gonna be the next big Florida show to hit every year. If you have been thinking about going to this one, dont hesitate, just do it. This weekend we are heading back to Ohio to hit up Cruisefest....and yes, its finally back in OH and should be off the chain. This is a great show to go to and let loose and party the whole weekend. Its always been party central everytime we hit it up and the DropJaw booth is off the hook here with us pulling out the Beer Pong table for the drinkers and the stripper pole for anyone who wants to get their pole dancing on. Be sure to come by the booth and say hey this weekend as we will be there all weekend and very late at night partying. Also, once again we are coming out with a new dvd and are looking for music artists that want to get their music out there and heard by a very broad audience. The last dvd WCT6 had some great music on it that complimented it very well so if you or someone you know has some music that needs to be heard, hit me up at TheJawDropper@aol.com. We have The Big Show coming up in less than a month and have heard nothing but good thing from everyone about coming out and representin'. We have Friday and Saturday open for campers this year so you can come out for the entire weekend to live it up. This show will do nothing but get bigger and better every year and we owe all that to you guys out there in the show scene. See you all at the show. Lata --April--24--What a great weekend Slamsession was. This is always a great show to see everyone's new mods and the show scene's lastest rides at. This show is always great for us because not only is it the East Coast's greatest club run show and we are able to be part of that but, its also held by Animated Attractions which just happens to also be the club that me and Mike are in and have been since its creation 17 years ago. It feels great to be a part of a club for so long even with the ups and downs that anyone in a club, knows you go through. To most everyone out there, a club is your second family and a great place to go to to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Its a chance to hangout and chill with a group of people that have the same interests as you do....your ride and the show scene. We all see this alot at Slamsession, the closeness, dedication and honor that people have with their clubs and it makes us all proud to be a part of NC's longest running club. But lately....about the past 5 to 8 years, Animated Attractions in my opinion has been on the back burner of the show scene and have held our own only because we put on a great show that so many people have come to over the years. We have been around at some shows with a few rides here and there and of course we've had some features in the magazines also but we havent been representin' like we use to back in the day. There has been a lack of new membership throughout the years but fortunately for us, recently we have had some great people join the club and some others that have come back and want to help us build this club back up to what it has potential to be. I dont wanna get too deep, I just saw alot of club love this past weekend and it made me wanna write a little about my second family. Loving the fresh start...be lookin' for us. As for DropJaw at Slamsession....we actually shot almost every ride that was there and this would be the first year for that. Its such a big show that I've never been able to cover it completely. Tripp helped me in the field taking pics while Lil B held it down in the booth. I was also able to shoot the entire Sunday events including Hang Over Club Games, the Burnout Contest and Hydro Show. On a different note....we got word from Camron that we may have a spot near the Myrtle area for the Friday stop on the Summer Cruize Tour. This would put us on the strip Friday night and possible at the Happy Holiday that night. Keep up with this so you will be able to get your room for the night. This Summer Cruize Tour is turning out to have some great ideas of a totally different weekend event and we will be blasting it on the site once we know all the details. I know we are behind but I will be working the entire next two weeks to get the site caught up. --April 17--Finally, it has been quite awhile since I have been able to post up here. Its been very very hectic around the DropJaw way. We went out to Lay'd Out At The Park a couple weeks ago and had a blast. This has turned out to be a great show for us to attend every year, even though this year it was snowing it didnt matter. Us and everyone else froze our asses off but it didnt keep the show from being off the chain. Jeffrey and his crew always does a great job with this show and if you havent hit this show up...its one not to miss. So we get back to G-Vegas and think that we can chill until Slamsession with us hittin' up the show in Goldsboro at the Food Lion this past Saturday and that would be that. Well, I get a call from John from Drop'Em asking when we are leaving out. I ask him what show he was talking about and he says Gator Drag in Louisiana. I'm like Dayum....I thought that the show was still the same weekend as Lay'd Out but the dates had changed. So I get this call on Thursday at 3:00pm and have to get the crew together to leave out by Friday morning at 4am. So we end up getting everyone together and head out for this 18 hour trip that ended up taking us 22 hours.....oh well, thats the road for ya. They changed the location this year also to a casino which made Big Mike pretty happy. It didnt snow at Gator Drag but the wind was crazy as hell. Its nice to get all the way down south because the rides are all stuff that we dont get to see on a regular. And let me tell you, the rides at both of these shows were off the hook as well as all the people that we met were great. This weekend though, is the baddest club ran show on the East Coast...Slamsesion Supershow held by Animated Attractions. Incase you dont know, me and my brother Mike are members of the club and have never been anywhere else. Actually Lil B, DropJaw's newest addition, is doing his time as we speak to be able to get in the club once his ride comes out of the paint shop. We learned everything we know about the scene and holding car shows from being in the club......DropJaw is our dream but Animated will always be first. Love your club.....we do. See you all this weekend. --April 4--Well, here we are in a new month. And its April at that...the beginning of the show season. The days are getting longer and hotter and sooner than you know, we all will be at the shows again, sweatin' our asses off. But its all good because this is what we know. All those people out there that me and the rest of the crew meet, have a heart for this thing of ours. The show scene to many is their home away from home. Its a totally different world that the "regular" world have no clue about. The Fast and the Furious did nothing to show the world what our scene is all about and dont think there will be a movie anytime soon that could ever describe it. Most people see the hooked up rides and think that we go to a show or two locally when in reality, its a serious addiction to many showers. And once we hit up those first couple shows of the year, its gung ho from there and we go all year until all we have to show for it is a pile of plastic trophies, an empty pocket and some worn tires. These little things that we encounter along the way like light bill money being spent to enter the show and get the motel room or someone loosing their girlfriend or boyfriend because they went to too many shows or your ride being stuck in some shop somewhere that told you that you would have it at this certain time and of course that time has been gone.......long long long time ago. These things are peddy little things that are overlooked when you are living in this weekend world that we all live in. "Regular" people could never understand what we all have here.....I guess the closest thing to comprehending it is someone who is all into Nascar and spends all their extra time doing that or into whatever else......I couldnt think of anything. This weekend I talked to alot of people that I normally talk to at shows and it just got me thinking about the scene as I do ever so often, and how I see the same people and we all enjoy our weekend world to the fullest. Besides all that, we hit up the Spring Showdown show up in Roanoke, VA this past weekend. We got up there Friday afternoon along with alot of othrs who came in early for this bangin' one day show. These guys always hold it down with putting on a great event. This year they even moved it to the convention center so it was alot more room than last year. There was some rain a couple times throughout the day but overall it was a great time. We added our newest DropJaw Cutie Cheryl to our army of cuteness also. We named the winner of the Homegrown Cutie Contest.....Briana. She sent in some great shots and we congradulate her for winning the contest. We will be having another one of these Homegrown contest later in the year but for now, we have another contest that will be coming out in the next couple weeks or so. It will be giving our artists out ther in the scene a chance to shine on DropJaw and win some loot and prizes as well. I added another little something tonight also, the Not So Picture Perfect page. These are some of the funny shit that I shoot at the shows we hit. I started with Spring Fling and will be adding them as I get them. These should be some interesting pics throughout the year. We are gearing up this week for Layd Out At The Park in TN. This show was off the chain last year and we cant wait to get back there. I know there are alot of you hittin' up this show so we'll be seeing you there. Gotta go...its late as hell. --March 29--We are getting ready to head out to the Spring Showdown show in Roanoke, VA. Last year this one day show pulled almost 400 rides that came from far and wide. I'm expecting that its only gonna get bigger and better, not to mention that they are having it at a much larger venue this year. I'll be seeing alot of you out there. This week though, I got alot done on the site like the Spring Fling show in Forida which was off the chain. We had a great time there with the show and the cruize strip both Friday and Saturday night. Speaking on cruize strips, we do have a little talk going around the DropJaw Grape Vine about us coming out with something that people have been telling us to do for years...a Summer Cruize Tour. Of course it would only start with 3 or so stops and would also have a daytime car and truck show for those who want to show off a little. The show is so we have something to do during the day but the main thing about this would be the motel and the cruize strip. Myrtle Beach proves time and time again that when we do atleast two nights of partying, everything seems a little better...lol. It really didnt hit me until I was sitting at South of the Border just chillin' outside the van, on the way to Spring Fling, and was thinking about all the good times we have had at that place. We WILL be staying at the border for one of these stops for sure. Dates are always an issue too so its something we are working on. I also got up the last Homegrown Cutie Contest update before we announce the winner on Monday. We will be doing more contests like this one also, that gets you more involved on the site. Plus it gives you one more thing to check out on DropJaw and we always want more. We already have our April Specials up on the site as well. Theres some cool deals with alot of our hottest shirts, decals, videos and the ShowGirls too. Check it out. Oh yeah, along with the Spring Fling coverage, I did 14 Hot Shots for this show which is alot for me. I usually only do like 8 at the most because it takes me so long to do them. But I saw alot of rides that will be coming up in magazines with features so I wanted to snag them up first for an official Hot Shot. You'll notice that trend....remember the Hot Shots you see here and then you will see these rides in the pages of your favorite paperbacks. Its not like they pick them because they are on our site or anything, its just something you can see coming if you are a photographer. Its usually very predictable to be able to pick out features because most magazines are predictable. Everyone always sticks with the same "style" of ride that they ALWAYS have in their pages or elsewhere for that matter....atleast you can come here and see any and every style of ride thats present at the shows and cruizes. That goes for the ladies of the show scene as well, we love to be able to show you ALL the ShowGirls at the shows instead of just the ones walking around with some bikini floss. Bikini floss is fine and is usually found up here as well but its not the only ones you'll see. Variety is what this thing of ours is all about...keep it Modern Custom....Represent!! --March 26--Whats up peoples.....long time no talk. As you see from Big Mike's post I tied the knot with love of my life....DropJaw Cutie Susan. Incase you didnt know, I met her for the first time when I asked her if she wanted to be a Cutie on the DropJaw site back in 2002. Even though we were friends for a few years before we actually got together, I knew she was the one for me and here we are. Its kinda wierd to say that I have a wife now because I have been waiting for that for like 10 years and it seemed like the perfect girl would never come along, but I am glad she finally did and I couldnt be happier. On to the DropJaw thing, first off I want to apologize to anyone who placed orders while I was gone because we got a little behind. I didnt have time to show Brian how to do the whole order process so we are a little behind here. I will also be getting up Spring Fling coverage from Florida and our wedding and honeymoon pics up for anyone who wants to check that out. We also have some "Your Coverage" pics coming up this week too. There will be a final update or two on the Homegrown Cutie Contest this week before we announce the winner on the 1st of April. Actually it will probaby be on Monday the 2nd before its up on the site since Sunday is an off day for us. We will be hitting up the Spring Showdown show this weekend which we picked as the #1 one day show in VA last year. Awesome show so if you are looking for a great show this coming weekend....check thisone out. Thanx for all you guys patience while I was on my honeymoon but it is back to work as normal now. See you guys at the shows. Glenn --March 6--We are gearing up for The Big Show which is creeping up little by little. I just got finished adding some more clubs to the Clubs Coming list. If you are planning on hitting up the show, be sure to send us your club's name so you can show before hand that you will be representin'. We are reworking the DropJaw Booth for the new year also so I apologize for the delay in getting up the Myrtle coverage. Speaking of which, I'm actually working on that now. I just wanted to stop and do a little bit of writing to you guys. We are getting ready to hit up our first major show of the year, Spring Fling in Panama City Beach, FL. I mean really, what better way to start off the show year than in sunny Florida. We are gonna be hitting up a total of three Florida show right here in the beginning of the year. Spring Fling, Southeastern Nationals and Unite. Of course as you know, right here in NC there is the show of all club shows....Slamsession Supershow. As most of you know this is #1 club run show on the East Coast and is now in its 13th year. If you havent heard about this show then you better recognize. This is the show to be at and people have been coming for years for the compitition level that this show brings. So get your shit together and bring it. On a different note, we have a hot new shirt getting ready to debut this weekend and on the site before the weekend. I absolutely love the tv show that this shirt is based off of and I'm sure you guys will like it too. Keep a lookout for that and for the Myrtle coverage....its a big one. We also have a couple more shows that will be added to the Your Coverage section of the site this week too. Dont get your panties in a bunch....Myrtle's coming. --Februay 28--I know its been a minute since I posted up here but I'm sure you all know that we have been in Myrtle Beach, SC for the Winter Cruize Tour Final Destination since the 19th. Incase you werent able to make it out or have been under a rock for the past 7 years, this is the largest event that DropJaw has ever put on. I know some of you are like.....better than Freak Show? I cant really put anything over Freak Show as far as shows go but this is something a little different. A comparison to this event would be mustang week or bike week, of course we havent gotten to that level yet as far as overall size wise but we are on our way. The WCT has been going on in Myrtle for 7 years now as a weekend event but we have only been doing the week long event for two years. And for this being our 2nd year for this, it has increaed in size tremendously. The amount of people that came down for the whole week increased from last year and the hanging out was off the hook every night we were there. We spent our nights in the Happy Holiday parking lot chillin' with the locals and the peeps that came down for the week. We figured Monday and Tuesday would be a little slow but that was not the case. The local crew came out every night of the week and partied hard. I gots to give out mad props to the whole local crew who made our week very interesting and gave us something to do. You guys are fucking awesome and it wouldnt have been the same without you. I got to give out special props to our homie Curtis who helped us out with the cops by letting them know that we werent doing anything too bad..lol. Dont think that I'm forgetting any of you others that were out there because I'm not....all of you were cool and me and Brian got to see alot of people from last year and met a shitload of new locals that we didnt get to chill with last year. I would have to say also that the locals are some hardcore DropJaw peeps. They called the week we were there, DropJaw Week. I like the sound of that....maybe we'll have to create a new name for the week next year. As for the cops, Monday and Tuesday it seemed that it was gonna be a long week because people were getting popped for some simple little stuff like the stereo being a little loud......not loud like you would normally hear but just parking lot loud. And I know that this may be against the law but it deserved a warning instead of a ticket. Needless to say, it seemed that there was a bullitin sent out on Wednesday saying to not fuck with us as much as they normally do because it seemed like the cops just disappeared and let us chill and cruize and do what we came to do. It was actually pretty cool. I know some of the cops in Myrtle read this shit and check out DropJaw and I just want to let you know that we appreciate you guys giving us a little breathing room so we could do our thing and build this "DropJaw Week" like we have been wanting to do and will continue to do. Next time you guys should come up and meet DropJaw celebrity Big Dave....he'll ask you to tazer him but other than that he will keep you rolling. We missed WCT6 video celebrity Highway Star this year but we met a couple of new local steet drunks, Lynn and Renegade. They were pretty entertaining and may become video celebrities before the year is out. I want to give out mad props to all the people who came out and represented at our newest Saturday hangout, Nascar Cafe. It was as big as it ever has been on Saturday with everyone sticking to the strict no burnout/draggin' policy for the parking lot. You guys really helped us out with that because I was nervous the whole day we were there. Leon, the general manager, said that we had the largest turnout that he has EVER seen there which is a big deal considering they do something during the bike weeks there and they have a big nascar event that goes on there. But we all know that our sport is the shit and can bring it bigger and better than anyone so keep representing. I want to thank the entire DropJaw crew and close friends that helped us on Saturday at the show because honestly without you guys we woud have never been able to do everything we did....THANK YOU. We should have coverage up of the Myrtle event by the end of the week but if not it will be the beginning of next week. Thanx to everyone who came out and represented and to all the ladies who busted a pose for the DropJaw cameras. I think we took more cutie shots than we took vehicle shots and we have a few new DropJaw Cuties that will be coming out and some updates on some present cuties. Till next time stay warm throughout th warm months because before you know it, it will be time for you to have the hottest time freezin your ass off. --February 17--Because of the great response and an added item to the prize pack, we have extended the Homegrown Cutie Contest until April 1st. I would say this would be good for all....us and the girls. It gives everyone more of a chance to check out all the new Homegrowns sending in their pics and it gives the girls even more time to enter or get in more photos. As far as what has been added, Mobile Millinia stereo and custom store out of Greenville, NC has put up an indash Pioneer cd player to the Homegrown Cutie winner. So not only are the ladies going for the $250.00 DropJaw prize pack but they have a chance to replace that worn out radio in their ride with this new cd player. We have really enjoyed having a contest running on DropJaw so I'm thinking that we will continue to do these contest all the time. If you have a store, shop or online business that would be interested in being a sponsor of future contests, hit me up at TheJawDropper@aol.com and let me know what your interested in giving away or possible ideas for new contests. We're always open to anything here. On a different note, we are gearing up for Myrtle and will be leaving out Monday morning for our winter time vacation. I am gonna be bringing the big lap top down there so maybe we can hook up with some wireless internet and update you guys on whats happening throughout the week. Dont forget, you can pick up the new Winter Cruize Tour 6 dvd this weekend and incase you havent heard.....its a keeper. Very entertaining and alot going on in this video. Anyway...see you all at the beach. lata --February 14--First off....Happy Valentines Day to everyone. I hope that all of you that have that special someone will be spending time with or doing something nice for them today. Actually you should be doing it everyday but this day is a good day to do it too. For those of you who may not have someone to spend this special day with, we have a date for you. I have just uploaded all of the Past Cuties on the DropJaw Cuties section that havent been up for some time now. It should give you something to do today and tonight. Enjoy. I have also just uploaded another "Your Coverage" show to that page. Coverage was sent in by Jonny Outlaw from SC and he got some pics from the SCCA event that was going on in Summerville, SC. Check it out and dont forget, if you have some pics or show coverage that you would like to send to us to put on this section...hit us up. Hope you all have a great Valentines Day and to my baby.....you know I love ya girl. Cant wait to see you walking down that isle. lata everyone --February 13--The WCT7 stop in Raleigh was off the chain. Everyone stepped up this year and made this stop one of the biggest ones that we have had all year. It almost doubled in size from last year and will be a permenant stop every year. It was also the debut of the Winter Cruize Tour 6 DVD and the first time we were able to play it for everyone at the booth. We cruized that night up to the new mall but just like we said, we got ran off pretty quick. We did get some slammin' video of everyone that cruized out and some draggin' that was going on. Back at the Colortyme parking lot everyone came out that werent able to make it that day so it stayed full the entire time. I would have to say that there was close to 400 rides that came out in total with about 50 people entering the car and truck show. There was one incident was sucked when we were out at the lot during the day....we had set up in the regular place that we did las year and realized around noon that they were doing remodeling in the building we were in front of. The guy that was working inside said it was cool that we were set up there but the owner came out raisig hell saying that we owed her 500 bucks to be set up in front of her business. I told her that if we had known it was a business we would have never set up there but she insisted that they were a business at the time and when I asked what they sold, she said, we sell stuff. Hmmmmm.....stuff huh? Sounds kinda fishy and not to mention that she said she had been paying $2000 a month for 5 years and she wanted us to pay $500 for one day.....pretty steep pricing there. So needless to say we ended up moving because I didnt want to deal with her mouth anymore. Big Dave and his car club crew helped us out with getting everything moved and along with our regular peeps that were there it didnt take too long. Just a little of the normal excitement that we run into everytime we do anything. I'm not even gonna mention the crap that ended up happening at the Spring Lake Colortyme a couple weeks before. It actually happened after the cruize but is one of those things that I will not get in to here because it would start alot of BS that I would rather just put to rest. We are now gearing up for Myrtle and are getting ready to head out in a week. Cant wait for that wintery vacation that we look foward to every year now. It is gonna be sweet being down there with nothing to do but hang out, get some footage and coverage of all the partying and generally having a good time. There are quite a few people that are talking about being down there for the whole week so if you care to join us, feel free to. There will be events going on during the day and at night we chill at the Happy Holiday parking lot and have a good time. If you are looking to get DropJaw stuff at the cruize, you may have to wait until Saturday at Nascar Cafe when we are set up there because of what happened last year at the motel....we are taking every precaution. And on the note of the Nascar Cafe....we will be STRICTLY enforcing the NO BURNOUTS policy this year. This is our last chance to be somewhere nice to hang out during the day on Saturday and we cant fruck it up....or should I say people doing burnouts cant fruck it up. Anyone that is out there and sees someone gettoing ready to do a burnout or doing one, please stop them because if you dont we will be made to leave the parking lot and there wont be any second chance. So come one, come all, just make sure you come to party and have the hottest time you'll have, freezin' your ass off. Be lookin' out for the Raleigh coverage in a couple days. --February 9--What up, what up, what up. Been pretty hectic this week with us getting this new Winter Cruize Tour DVD done, duplicated, added to the DropJaw Clothing and DropJaw Films sites and ready to debut at the Raleigh stop of the WCT7 on Saturday. And incase you havent checked your calendar lately, this is the last stop on the tour before the big daddy....Myrtle Beach Final Destination and Modern Custom Week. We are amped over this way and cant wait to take that much deserved winter vacation that we now look foward to every year. We have the whole week scheduled out with something to do every day. We have added Hooters to the schedule this year and will be hittin' that up one day for some lunch with everyone. We bumped the go kart racing ahead a day so maybe a few more people will get to come out to that because last year we had a blast doing that. Its all indoors so you dont have to worry about freezin' and of course its fun beating everybody....lol. And Nascar Cafe is shaping up to be a great Saturday stop for the tour and should be great for the show that will be happening during the event. But off the Myrtle subject, this Saturday should be awesome because last year the Raleigh folks proved to be a pretty hardcore crowd and I'm thinking that it will be even larger this year. Especially with the car, truck and bike show going on, there is that much more reason to come hang at Colortyme during the day. And like last year we will be hittin' up the same parking lot that night and see how long we can chill until we get ratted out. Besides that, I talked to Charlie Cobble the other day about things and we are set up at Slammin' and Jammin as always and this year I'm hoping nothing will happen like last year and we will be able to make it back out to the Mini Truck Nationals. I have been going to this show since it was at the motel....even before the big split where it went into two different shows. Some shows just have some great memories that will never be forgotten. Speaking of memories, this new dvd that we have just come out with has some funnyass memories that will not soon be forgotten. I keep talking about it because we are really proud of this one because everytime we come out with a new dvd, it always gets better than the one before. It will continue to be like that too because I know what we like to see from show scene videos and I think I know what most people want to see so we try to make sure that it comes through in everything that we put out. Speaking on that, if you have any video footage that you would like to see on an upcoming DropJaw Films dvd, send us a copy of your cool video stuff and we will be sure to hook you up on the next one. Of course it has to be something that is usable and preferably hot so keep that in mind. And as always we are lookin' for music artists that want to get their stuff heard and if its hot enough we will use it and give you mad credit. On a different note, I wanted to give a shout out to Brian who has come on board with us to hit the shows up with us this year and work the booth. As you know, Tripp and his girl Amber worked the booth all of last year and did an excellent job with everything, but when the winter months hit and there wasnt anything going on, he hooked up with a custom shop to keep the money rolling in. He has actually done really great there and is now practically running the joint so he is pretty much locked into that job and wont have quite as much time to hit the road and spend all the time that we spend out there. I have to say, its not an easy job working with DropJaw because we are on the road about a third of the year and honestly the pay isnt the greatest either. Unfortunately we are still a very broke company so it definately takes alot of heart for the scene to do what we do. Hopefully Tripp will be able to take some time to hit some of those sweet shows that I know he wants to be at but I do want to wish him all the luck in the world with his new job. Alot of people would give their left nut to be working at a custom shop and I know its something that he has always wanted to do so atleast he is happy. So if you see Brian at the booth, be sure to come up and hey. He is no stranger to the scene.....he has been involved for years and will now be on the other side of the scene too that alot of people dont get to see. Even though being on this side of the show has its ups and downs with having to deal with things like show politics and sometimes knowing a little too much info about people and promoters. You would be amazed at some of the things we run in to but that is a whole different post because I could go on for days. Which is what this post seems to be doing so I will end it now and talk to you guys later. Keep it pimp --February 2--First off, we have added another Homegrown Cutie Contest update with a few new cuties and some updates on ones already up there. The contest is going well I think and we are getting alot of new Homegrown Cuties out of it also. I had a little meeting the other day with a the huge motorcycle/trailer dealership here in Greenville, Ron Aires Motorsports, about an open house/bike show that they have there every year. They want DropJaw to come in with them and do some promotions for the show an to organize and judge it. They hadnt had a great turnout over the years and want us to try and get alot more bikes up there and people to come check the bikes out. By putting it on the site and having some "real" flyer done for the show and passing them out at different events, it shouldnt be that hard. We usually have a decent amount of bikes that come out to our stuff and the ones that are there are usually pretty hot plus all the others that will come out too. The show is only gonna be $15 and will last all day on Saturday. It will also be taking place the weekend after Slamsession. Our newest video, Winter Cruize Tour 6 is gonna drop next week. J.R. has finished up all the editing, actually he is sitting here right now doing some last minute bonus footage stuff but the video is complete. This video is the best thing that we have ever done. I'm not just saying that to get people to by it, I'm saying it because its the damn truth. The difference in this video and any others was I was sitting here with J.R. the whole time and gave my direction to go along with his. The combination of both of us has made a huge difference in the video transitions, humerous skits that were used, different special effects put in the right place and timing of everything. The music is all new stuff from artist that you dont hear on the radio and when you here these guys, you will want a sound track to the dvd. It took me forever to select the right music, going on myspace and listening to different groups for hours and hours, getting cds in the mail from guys wanting their stuff heard and having to listen to ALL of it to make sure we didnt miss anything. It has been worth it though. Just a little clue as to some of the humor end of it, for anyone who has the pleasure of meeting Big Dave he was at the Myrtle Beach stop for this video and he teamed up with a local street person, Highway Star, at the motel and did some singing, dancing and alot of other crap that will have your stomach hurting from laughing so hard. We will have this video at the Raleigh WCT stop but if you arent gonna be there, we will have it available on the site come Monday. On that note, we have the Raleigh stop coming up next weekend and last year this one was named the most hardcore stop on the tour last year so dont miss this one. Talk at you all lata. --January 25--Fayetteville proved once again to be at the top of the cruize chain on the Winter Cruize Tour. The tour stop started out in Spring Lake, NC where we had more show rides than any other stop all year. The morning didnt start off too well though with the wind blowing so hard that it caused two of our tents to blow up over the trailer. So the start of the day cost us 400 bucks. I ended up having to go to Big Lots to see if they had something that would hold the tents down. Of course they didnt have stakes or anything to that degree so I had to do some rigging up to make it work. I found some small vehicle tie down straps and some long paint stirrers and did the math....big tie downs. It may have been ghetto but it worked the rest of the time we were set up. Besides the booth, the parking lot stayed packed all day with about 250 rides coming out througout the day. Lil B with the help of the famous Polly did the vehicle judging for the show and we had the DropJaw Fat Girls as the guest hosts of the trophy presentation. I mentioned to the crowd that if they had been keeping up with the Daily Grind then they would know who these chics were and before I could even get it out, the crowd was going crazy. After the awards we headed off to get some grub along the way to hit up the old Sams Club lot in Fayetteville and we stopped up at the Bojangles in Spring Lake. We were all like hell yeah...we love some Bojangles but it turned into a waiting nightmare. They were running the place with like 3 people and we walked in with about 12 so we had plenty of time to hang out and do nothing. We finally made it to the parking lot and it was already starting to fill up. It doesnt take long in Fayetteville because since day one of a tour stop going through there, they have always represented to the fullest. I got a chance to hang with alot of new people and alot that I already know and had a blast the whole night. I got a crapload of pics too so be lookin' out for huge coverage of this cruize tour. Plus we didnt get kicked out all night and the cops even came in the lot and got some people doing bunouts. The burnout line usually is the grand finale of the night and it was a good one this year. I got some slammin' shots and Thomas got some great video of everything happening. By the end of the night there were around 500 rides that came out to represent and I think everyone got their fill and left satisfied as it will always be in the famous Fayetteville. Thanx for coming out and representing like no other and we will be back next year as always. Also, thanx to the Fayetteville cops for continueing over the years to let us come out and chill in one lot without getting run off.....we do recognize this and appreciate it. At the end of the night when everyone was heading home, we had to head out to Charleston, Sc, another 3 hours, because we had a meeting on Monday about our newest show we hope will happen this year and years after. Charles from Diamond Autosports was cool enough to let us store our trailer inside his shop for a couple days until we got back from SC. We were able to shack up with our DropJaw homies and fellow Animated club members, The Famous Jonny Outlaw and his fiancee Christy in SC. Incase their names dont ring any bells, Christy worked the DropJaw booth at Freak Show 6 and Jonny was the one selling beads at the show. Anyway, it was a great time to catch up and do some well deserved hanging out.....with nothing else to do for a day. We did end up meeting on Sunday with Ronnie from The Butcher Shop and East Coast Draggers about a couple spots that we might possibly have the show at. Before we left the open field that he was showing us, he did a little freestyle dirt burnout demonstration and then some massive dragging once we got on the road. He said he didnt have anything left to drag but still ended up giving us a massive sparks show so awesome that we are adding it to our newest video getting ready to hit, the Winter Cruize Tour 6 video from last years tour stops. Monday came around and it was time to meet with the radio station, 98X the #1 rock station in the Charleston, SC area, about doing this show together. We were a little nervous and worried that there might not be that connection there that you need when partnering with someone to do a massive show but on the way there we were listening to the station and heard them say a catch phrase that said, We're the only station with balls to rock. I figured if they used balls in their advertisement for the station then we had a good shot....lol. And we were right. They are a great group of people that run the station and it is looking very good for this major show to hit in an area that we have been trying to do a major show for awhile. We have had the Highway Invasion Tour there and it was a slammin' show but this will be an opportunity to have an annual thing here. The HIT was 4 shows put together in an overall tour thing but this will be one show that can be concentrated on 100% and if giving the chance, will be just as good if not better than any other annual show that DropJaw has now. Not only are we bringing to Charleston a "traditional" DropJaw show but we are trying to go back to the fairgrounds that we used last time. All of you who were there or have been there know that this is the dream location for this show. It is the most awesome fairgrounds that we have ever been to or had a show at.....I mean, its got a lake in the middle of it among many other things. To step it up a little we are gonna be offering a Drag Contest of all drag contest with there being $1000 bucks up for grab to the winners. Many other things are being worked out as well like bringing some national bands to perform and we are also trying to have a Bike Rally/Biker Build Off going on as well. If everything works out, this will be one of the most entertaining shows you will ever attend and will forever put Charleston on the map for playing host to THE South Carolina Show to be at. We will keep you up to date on this event. Speaking about DropJaw shows, we have added all the info to The Big Show Info Center so make sure you add you club to th Clubs Coming page. We are opening this show up this year at noon on Friday so we have camping both nights. We are also gonna have a couple of warm up events like the after hour burnouts and warm up draggin'. Check out the info center. Smell ya lata!! --January 19--As I'm sure you have all seen we finally got the new DropJaw look up. Like I said before, its not a dramatic change but it did clean it up alot. Thats the thing I like about it the most is how it is put together and flows with everything including the tour rig. There are still some things that will change that I havent got to yet, but I will. I have had to get prepared for this WCT stop tomorrow in Spring Lake and Fayetteville, NC. Had to get the trophies together and I did them in camo since we have so many troops that come around on this stop. This has been, besides Myrtle, the best stop since we first started the WCT. We have been going here for 7 years now and it seems that it gets better every year. If you are missing this one, you are missing a good one. But dont worry, I will have plenty of coverage for you to check out next week. We have added a new host motel to the Myrtle Beach Tour stop, the Wayfarer, which is right down from the Happy Holiday, about 3 motels down. This will be a great place to stay to be close to all the action and partiers. You can check it out on the Myrtle Info Page. See you guys in Fayetteville. --January 12--Well, I got the coverage up of the Rocky Mount, NC stop on the Winter Cruize Tour and there is plenty to look at. We also picked up our newest DropJaw Cutie Bailey and shes got some smokin' pictures that were taking at the stop. Be lookin' out for more from her at the Fayetteville/Spring Lake stop. We also have some more entries into the Homegrown Cutie Contest that I will get posted as soon as I get a few more entrys in. I should be uploading the new DropJaw Index in the next few days along with all the other pages being redone to match. We are still looking for your coverage from shows or just your cool collection of pictures that you want to be shown on DropJaw. Other than that its been pretty quiet around the way. With no shows going on theres not alot to do except work on the site and get ready for the new show year. Mike started working here in town this week at Mobile Mellinia...they do all the major stereo installs and sales here, and they are extending the shop into more of the custom field and that is why they brought him in. So if anyone needs wheels or anything custom, be sure to give him a call (252-258-1122) and tell him that you saw it here. Talk to you guys later when theres something to update on. --January 9--I wanna start off by saying that the Rocky Mount, NC cruize on the WCT was simply off the chain. It exceeded by far what I thought the turn out would be. I figured that there would be alot of people there because we havent been there since 2000 for a Winter Cruize Tour but this was a really great showing of all the clubs and everyone from the area. There were some guys that even came from Charlotte which I'm pretty sure is atleast 4 hours away. The show during the day pulled 47 show entrants and all together there was like 150 or so rides that came out just during the day. Then once it got that time where people were probably getting off work or whatnot, it ended up being anywhere from 300-400 rides that had come out and represented before the night was over. I got a shitload of pictures and our boy Thomas helped out by videoing throughout the day and night. We did end up leaving the parking lot and cruizin' aound the lake to get some cruizin' footage and pics but for the most part we stayed at the Colortyme lot. We had some issues right to start with in the morning when we were setting up with the landlord's maintenance guy or whatever coming up saying that we couldnt be hanging in the lot. We ended up getting all that straight and didnt have any issues until the cops came up and asked us if we had written permission to be there. So we had to get the owner of Colortyme on the phone and all that to get it all straightened out again but we were slapped with a 11:00pm time limit. We ended up staying until midnight, at which time they came back to escort us off the lot. It was a slammin WCT stop and we hope that we will be able to come back next year to hit this one up again. Other than that, I have added our first contestants into the Homegrown Cutie Contest and have gotten alot of response off of it. I think alot of the cuties are getting their pics lined up and taken to enter the contest so we will be waiting for those. All of you out there, if you or anyone you know might want to enter this contest, please let them know so we can have plenty of entrants. I like the contest thing and would love to have more throughout the year so be lookin' out . Dont forget, our next stop on the WCT is Fayetteville, NC and Spring Lake, NC which is the same stop. We will be at the Colortyme in Spring Lake during the day and Fayetteville at the Sams Club parking lot at night. This, throughout the years of having the WCT, has been the one stop that always grows and brings out some of the hottest rides and coolest people that you will see at any stop. It has always been right behind Myrtle for the baddest stop on the tour for 6 years now so do not miss this one. And for anyone that remembers, Spring Lake is where we had our 5 year B-Day party at on the same weekend as the East Coast Nationals and we pulled 250 rides for a one day event. I expect that this stop will be nothing short of large and very fun to be at. Just remember, if the cops come into the parking lot that night, it doesnt mean that they are kicking us out. Last year when everyone hauled ass when the cop came into the lot, he was just coming for the guy burning out and not to kick us out. We stayed there and chilled the rest of the night with no problem while everyone else was out parking lot hopping. Anyway, I hope everyone had a good time at the cruize and we cant wait till the next one. I got to give props to my boy Brian for holding the booth down once again by himself and doing the damn thang and to the DJM Fat Girls for helping out when we needed it most. And dont let me forget DropJaw's Mike who came out and helped Brian judge all those rides. Everyone was just cool as hell in Rock City and the ladies where down with getting mad pics for the coverage so be ready for a huge cutie section for this one plus a new DropJaw Cutie was made there....Bailey. Keep it pimp people....lata. --January 5--Hope everyones year is going good so far. I just added coverage from 3 different parties that we hit up in the past month and a half or so. Thefirst was Mini Freak Show held by the DJM Fat Girls, the Animated Christmas Party ans the New Years Eve Party also held by the DJM Fat Girls. There is some pretty cool shots in there and of course some out there shots as they always seem to present theirselves when drinking is involved. These are get togethers with some of the regular peeps that we hang with when we are in town. I also jut got finished putting the trophies together for the Winter Cruize Tour this Saturday in Rocky Mount, NC. This should be a great stop on the Tour as there are alot of clubs from around this way that usually represent hard at DropJaw events. We havent hit up Rock City since the very first WCT and it was slammin' then. We stopped doing it because we had a stop in Greenville, our hometown, which is only about 45 minutes away but now with us not having a stop in Greenville, we figured it would be a great time to come back. I got about half of the new index for the site done last night and its lookin' pretty good so far. Its not gonna change dramatically but it is gonna be cleaned up alot and some new flavor has been added as well. We should have the entire new look of the site up and running by the end of next week so be lookin' out. Talk at you guys later --January 3--Whats up everyone....damn, I havent talked to you guys since last year. Aight, that was as cheezy as that z in my cheezy but anyway......I hope you guys brought in the new year the way you wanted to. Partying it up with your people or spending it with that special person you wanted to spend it with or both, we got a brand new show year ahead of us and the shows are lining up on the Calendar. Speaking of New Year's Eve partying, we went over to Brian and Christy's joint for the night to hangout with "our" peoples that we normally hang with and of course the whole crew was there. Polly and Ashley were there as always and along with Christy, they have created a little thing you may have heard of it.....The DropJaw Fat Girls. I dont know if this is a club or whether they have new members but they play host to some pretty hot apartment parties. They are also the ones that came up with the idea for the Phat Women & Phine Rides shirts with the chubby trucker chic on it, so anyone who thought that we came up with that....theres the story. They also are pushing VERY hard for us to do a section like the Homegrown Cuties but catering to "fat girls". The reason I am posting this is I want some feedback from you all out there because I dont want a bunch of people emailing me saying that I'm an asshole for havin a section like that...lol. Anyway, Jonny "The Outlaw" and his brand new fiancee Christy even took the 5 hour trip from SC to come hang with the crew for New Year's Eve. The whole DropJaw crew was there and a varity of clubs representin' like LL, LA, AA, DC, and if there were more I am sorry but it was a rough night...lol. Did I mention that they had a beer pong table set up in the living room and they had a tournament going on. And its always set up in the living room whether its at Brian and Christy's or at Polly and Ashley's....they play ALL the time. I will be putting coverage up of the New Year's Eve party, the Animated Christmas get together and the Mini Freak Show that was a few weeks ago, all in the same coverage coming up this week. Speaking of the site....I have started working on the new look of it and am working from the inside out. While I am doing all this other internal stuff, I am making sure to get the new design exactly the way I want it. I have alot of new things that I want to do with DropJaw and I have begun with the Homegrown Cuties section. I have cleaned it up and revamped just a little but the BIG thing with the rework of it is, we are doing a Homegrown Cutie Contest to kick the year off. Check this out.....any ladies out there that want to get in on this, all you have to do is send in aleast 5 or more pictures and you will be entered into the contest plus you will instantly become a DropJaw Homegrown Cutie. For anyone who doesnt know, Homegrown Cuties was created for the cuties sitting at home that want to have their photos on DropJaw but may not be able to get to the shows that we cover and have us take them. It actually makes for some really interesting pictures sometimes because when you are at home taking pics of yourself, you are not limited with time or surroundings that may be encountered at shows. Plus you get to be as comfortable as you like because theres not a crowd of people standing around watching. Our Homegrown Cutie section has always been active and supplies our guests with hundreds of "real" cuties ever since we created it but I wanted to spotlight it a little more by having this contest. Plus I wanted to pull in some new girls that may have had second thoughts about becoming Homegrown Cuties or maybe didnt have time to get around to taking pics, but with what we are offering it may be a good time to break out the camera. Just so you know, we are not looking for any kind of specific picture or outfits or anything.....its totally what you want to send. The contest will be going on till February 15, where we will be announcing the winner and spotlighting her on the main page of DropJaw for a week. Besides the exposure on DropJaw, the winner will receive a DropJaw Prize Pack that has a $250.00 value filled with pretty much everything that we sell. As if that isnt enough, the winner also instantly becomes our newest DropJaw Cutie which carrys the weight of being able to get into ANY DropJaw event or show for FREE. So break out the cameras ladies, do some posing and send your pics to HomegrownCuties@aol.com so YOU can be seen on the largest and most visited Modern Custom Show Coverage site in the Nation.....Its DropJaw Bitch!! I wasnt calling you bitches...just an expression......calm down....lol. Smell ya lata. 2006 --December 25--First off I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year. I hope you get all you want from the fat dood and have a great time with family and friends. The New Year is gonna bring alot for alot of people including us at DropJaw. We have alot of new things getting ready to happen with the site and the company as a whole. We have been doing this DropJaw thing now for 6 and a half years and everyday for us brings something new. This is how we have tried to be with the site and the every other road that we have ventured on. One thing that I can say is, no matter what we do or try in the present or past, whether it has worked or not, we have always had you guys that have been loyale to DropJaw and everything we stand for. If you are new to us here at DropJaw, what we stand for is you....the people from the show scene. Seeing as how we ARE people from the show scene ourselves, it makes perfect sense that we have this portal known as DropJaw to voice our opinion whether in words or pictures. For a long time we have only been able to express ourselves through our pictures but with this editorial and others that we have had in the past it comes through in words too. And with everything we do, especially our shows, we try to send a message to everyone. just like when we try something new with our shows, it lets people know whether or not it might work at their shows or events. Like with everything that DropJaw Clothing offers, its all very affordable and probably the lowest priced merchandise in the Show Scene to date. The reason for this is, we know how costly it is to hook up your ride, then drive it or trailer it to a show, then get a motel room and party favorites and food and the list keeps going on and on. With all this money being spent, its nice to come by the DropJaw booth and not have to spend a small fortune to get some cool videos or clothing or collectable pictures. Seriously, if you really think about everything that is DropJaw, you will notice that you ALWAYS get your money's worth. I wanted to let you know that we have added new pics to all of the Representin' sections on the Daily Grind Index......check'em out. --December 21--Just wanted to post a couple things before I head out and ship some more Christmas orders out. I got up another show from Randall at Xclusive Images....12 Volt Extravaganza in Morehead City, NC. It seemed to be a pretty nice show and there were some sweet rides that came out and represented. I wish I could have made that one but I was out of town that weekend. We also got up our newest section, Your Show Coverage. This section is the one I have been talking about where you, the people from the show scene get to showcase the pictures that you take at shows or where ever. You can do one of two things on this section.....you can send us a link to the pictures and coverage that you already have up or you can send in your show coverage on a cd and I will put it up just as we do all our other coverage. Of course with DropJaw being all about Phat Rides and Phine Women, we invite the cutie pictures along with the coverage. I just ask not to send me pictures of a show that we have already covered since we usually get plenty of pics when we are there. This will open a whole new door on DropJaw for everyone to see even more show coverage and pics than they usually do. Oh yeah....the picture on the front of the site was taken at a convient store in Suffolk, VA on the way to the WWE thing that we hit up the other night. I saw Santa getting gas so I figured i'd take advantage of the situation. Santa's sleigh looked more like a 2000 model Chevy truck to me....I may have gotten the wrong angle view on it though. And for anyone that was trying to see us, sorry but we were on the side of the ring that they never film on....sucked. But the show was great and all, besides the hour and a half wait outside in the freezin' cold which I should be use to with the WCT7 going on. Anyway, I hope you all have gotten all your Christmas shopping done because it is hell oput there now. People are crazy when it comes to shopping and I dare not get in their way. Be sure to get me that show coverage or links so we all have that much more to check out through the off season. --December 19--First off, for any of you wrestling junkies that watch the WWE, be on the lookout tonight on ECW at 10:00pm on Spike and Friday night on Smackdown at 8:00pm for any DropJaw signs that may be appearing in the crowd. We are going tonight to the Hampton Coliseum for the live ECW event and the taping of Smackdown and I will be making some signs to see if we can get them on tv. I know some of you might think its kinda dumb but I see these signs all the time watching this and have always wanted to have DropJaw shown on the program. What can I say....its my soap opera. I'm pretty syked about it seeing as how the last time I was at one of these events live was when me and Big Mike took our homie Rod's phatass lowrider to a live Raw event for Eddie Guerero to ride in when they had him doing that all the time. It was cool as shit backstage watching everyone doing their thing and mingling together right after they've beaten each other's asses. We also got to go into the catering room where all the wrestlers were sittin' around eating together. Before the show started that night, we were chillin' outside getting the ride ready and all when John Cena came up and talked to us for like 30 minutes about his lo los back at home....this was when he used to come out rapping, before they made him the champ. And my night was completed when the man himself, Vince McMahon along with his son and daughter, walked by us and he said...nice ride, right before getting into the limo and heading out. Anyway, it should be cool because we got seats not too far from the ring and I'm taking the camera of course so I can get some shots to put on the site. I should have those up pretty quick this week. I should also have The Big Show Info Center up this week too. Speaking of The Big Show, we have some new stuff coming about at next year's show. We have the gates opening up on Friday instead of Saturday so all you campers can come out and set up camp early and get the partying started. We are also gonna have an all weekend burnout pit where you can go anytime during the weekend and do your thang without having to wait for the Sunday Burnout Contest. But be sure to save some for the contest because this is where we crown the Burnout King, the Draggin' King and the Largest Representin' Club. Also, after the nighttime events we will be openig up the track once again for some outlaw drag racing that is very popular at The Rock during other events. With me working on the Big Show stuff, I had to give Steve a call about a couple things and I asked him about Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell because I had seen in the movie that they were at Rockingham in one of the scnes. He said that they were there for a month shooting the movie and that they shot all of the racing and race track parts of the movie right there at the track....pretty cool huh? Aight maybe not but I figured it was another bit of useless info that you people like to read here. I have had a couple of people that sent me links to their pictures of show coverage and such that they have online, so I'm guessing that instead of just using coverage that people send me on CDs, when I do this section later this week I will also be including people's links to their coverage that they have online as well. The only difference in the two will of course be that I will not be doing anything but linking up the online stuff where as I will be actually adding graphics and creating a cover and all for the sent in pics. I am down for it all so be sure to send me your CDs or links to pics online to TheJawDropper@aol.com --December 15--Just want to throw this out thee right to start with, if you have any show coverage that is large enough to actually be considered coverage and its a show that we have not got coverage up of, hit me up with an email about it and I will get it up on the site. I am gonna create a section just to showcase other peoples pictures that they get at shows. Remember, I'm not lookin' for 20 or 30 pictures, I'm lookin' for like atleast 100 pics and more. With this being a time that we arent so busy with our own show coverage, I figured it would be a great time to show your coverage off. So hit me up at TheJawDropper@aol.com and I will give you the address to send the CD to. I added info to the Calendar and a banner to the Spotlighted Show Block of HotRidesMag.com's upcoming Florida show.....UNITE. Lookin' like its gonna be a good one...be sure to keep up on the up and coming info about this one. I also added some other shows to the Calendar and the dates are filling up quick. If you have a show coming up, you really need to go ahead and claim your show dates. I also got some new Homegrown Cuties added to the page...theres Heather, Dawn, Heidi, Lauren and Coli.......very nice update, you should check that one out. I'm gonna be building The Big Show flyers and Info Center starting tomorrow so if you know your club is gonna be attending, go ahead and start hittin' me up with the club names. You can send them to DJMShowCircuit@aol.com I also added Tech David's info to the Internal Affairs page. --December 14--Its 4am and I just got up the Winter Cruize Tour 7 coverage from Nags head, NC. This first time stop had an awesome showing during the dy with many of the people entering the car show. It was awesome to see everyone showing off during the day....gave everyone something more to do. We got ahold of Shane Capone earlier today and are using some of his music on the newest video, Winter Cruize Tour 6. This guy is from Detroit and has some slammin' sounds....you will like this one. I also ran across a couple more cds....ones a rapper from right here in G-Vegas and a screamo type group out of Raleigh, NC that will make a couple more great additions to the video. I still have to get with the screamo group to make sure we can use their stuff but if we get the ok, you will be diggin' this one. I didnt get as much done as I would have liked today but I had a headache for about 8 hours and finally had to lay down for a couple hours to get rid of it. Thats one reason why I am up at 4 in the morning finishing this up. Oh yeah....just incase anyone is interested, we just got our wholesale list together for any shops that are interested in selling DropJaw merchandise. Hit me up if interested and I will get you the link to the wholesale page. TheJawDropper@aol.com Aight guys, lata --December 12--First off, let me apologize if when you read these entries into the Daily Grind you find mispelled words and things or that nature. This keyboard sometimes likes to leave out letters when I'm writing and I am so quick to upload it without proof reading that you all end up with what you have here sometimes. Anyway, I have added the DropJaw Films page that spotlights, features and tells all about the movies that we offer here at DropJaw. I thought that these DVDs deserved their own section, especially since we will be debuting new videos on a more regular time frame. It also gives an area for the artists music that we feature on these new DVDs. Cds like the Jennifer Collection are up there as well and of course the Got Anger DVDs. Speaking on the music end, I have been on MySpace and SoundClick for the past 8 or 10 hours and have been checking out so much music that I am about sick of it. I can say that there are alot of people out there that are trying to get their music heard and I have heard alot of it today and tonight. The results werent to great to be honest with you......out of all the groups and artists that I searched through, I didnt find much that I thought would be good for our style of videos. This is some hard shit here......I know I have said this over and over but if you know any GOOD rappers or bands that wanna get their music heard, please get up with me or get them up with me. This searching crap sucks because there is so much out there. If you are someone who loves going through tons of music and finding the good stuff.....get up with me also and I'll tell ya what we are looking for. talk at ya lata --December 10--Whats up, been a few days since I posted up here. Is been a little busy as always but one of the things that I wanted to talk about was us bringing back the old videos that we use to sell back in the beginning of DropJaw. We had two Winter Cruize Tour videos for the first and second year that it was going on and two East Coast Pimpin' videos for show coverage from shows in 2000-2002. No matter how old these videos are or how many times I have watched them, they never get old. Its just a reminder to me of the beginning stages of DropJaw and what we built our foundation on. Back then when we use to take the sentra to all the shows, all we listened to was hip hop and techno as it is reflected in these older videos. I have heard over and over for the past 4 or 5 years, when are we coming back out with these videos on DVD because we only sold these on VHS back then. Well, now we have done what we have been wanting to do for years now and thats bring these slammin' vids back out on DVD and not only that but we have combined them into one so that we arent selling them seperate. We now have both of the original Winter Cruize Tour videos and both of the East Coast Pimpin' videos together so when you get these, you are getting two for the price of one. This will be an awesome collection to your video collection as we will be trying to fill in the blanks from those missing years where e didnt come out with DVDs. Just because we werent producing DVDs for all those years doesnt mean that we dont have the video footage from them. I should have these up on the DropJawClothing.com site by the end of tomorrow so be lookin' out for these. I will also have a Christmas special going on these two DVDs up till Christmas and might even extend it till the new year. Besides that, we hit up the WCT7 stop in Nags Head this Saturday and had a great time at Ocean Audio during the hop stop. Alot of people came out and represented there and entered the show with their chance of winning one of the Winter Cruize Tour trophies. This is the first year of us doing a show at all of our shop stops and so far everyone seems to have enjoyed theirselves showing off at these stops. After leaving the shop later that afternoon we hit up the Western Sizzlin for some grub and ended up spending like 40 sum bucks for two adults and a kid....unbelievable. I guess things are more epensive at the beach. Afterwards, we hit up the K-Mart parking lot to hang out for the rest of the night. Oh yeh, I almost forgot, on the way to Nags Head we got pulled right outside of Greenville by a highway patrolman. He said that he had pulled me over for the tint on the front two windows which by law were too dark. They registered 13% and are suppose to be 35% so I'm gonna have to get that straight. The cop was really cool though and we were able to get a shot of the van and trailer with the cop car behind it. I use to get those shots all the time in the sentra when I would get pulled for tint tickets so it was cool after all this time to get another one. I will have that shot on the front of the site though. And not only that but the guys from the club got some tickets on the way down to the cruize and at the cruize so I guess it was a big ticket day for Animated. I wanna give mad thanx to all the people that came out and represented at this stop and to everyone at Ocean Audio for having us out and giving us a place to chill for the day. I should have this coverage up pretty soon so be lookin' out and we are still lookin' for more music for these videos for anyone out there wanting to get their stuff out there. lata tata --December 4--I got a few new things to talk about.....for one, my best friend Polly just got engaged this past weekend to my homie Brent who just got back not too long ago from overseas. Congrats to you guys an we wish you two the best of luck. We have a new advertiser that just got onboard. Its Friction Films and this is the place to put your short videos to show off to everyone the coolness you record. Its like You Toob but is focused on OUR scene type stuff like draggin, burnouts and just plain cool stuff. Be sure to hit up the site and add your videos....its totally free. We now are offering any picture on the site whether a show pic, a cutie pic or a Hot Shot on a 13X19 inch poster. These posters are sweet and they come out very clear. I did one of the DropJaw van and it came out great. It didnt loose any quality and is twice the size of a normal Sic Pix. Check this out because it will make a great Christmas gift for someone or yourself. Dont forget our other specials we have going on through Christmas too. Talk at you uys later. --December 2--I got the Charleston, SC coverage up for the Winter Cruize Tour so be sure to check that out. I took Thursday off cause I headed up to VA to surprise my fiancee Susan on her birthday. She had no idea I was coming up....I kept telling her I was at my tax lady's office to do the cover up. Then onced I got there I had to do some investigating of her job to see the best place to park and walk up to the building without being seen because I had never been there. I think its cool doing stuff like this....I guess I could be a private investigator. Plus with this bigass brightly painted van, you just cant go driving anywhere you want when you're trying not to be seen. It ended up working out perfectly and she never saw me coming and actually she did a double take when I walked in ecause she never expected me to be there. I have to give my mom credit for calling her up and sneakingly asking her about her job and the address as if she was gonna be sending her something.....Pilgreen Investigations is now taking clients. We ended up going to Macaroni Grill with her son Austin and her mom which I have to give great reviews on with some slammin' pasta plus the dood that sang happy birthday in italian was great too. Anyway, it was a good timed and was also good to have a day off with no worries. Till next time, Keep Pimpin. --November 29--Charleston, Sc this past weekend was a great stop for the Winter Cruize Tour as it always is. It got a little bit of a late start Saturday morning but around 11:00am everyone starting pouring into the Colortyme parking lot. It gave us a little time to chill before the rush of the day and night because once it started, it didnt stop. My homie Jonny came up there first thing Saturday morning and showed off his newest creation which was a tat on his forearm that read, Its DropJaw Bitch!! Pretty sweet I have to say....you will get to see it when I get this coverage up for the Charleston cruize. It sould be up in the next couple days or so. I was suppose to have it up by today but sometimes shit happens. I did get our Christmas Specials up on DropJaw so all of you guys could get some awesome combo deals on DropJaw stuff that you wanna get for Christmas or give to someone else. We have some great combos so be sure to check them out....they will only last through the Holidays. I guess I dont have alot to talk about because I have been chillin' the past couple days. Sorry I am behind on stuff but it will get done...you know this. lata --November 24--Been spending the last couple days getting ready for the Charleston, SC Winter Cruize Tour stop. Ever since we hit this stop up a couple years back, it always turns out to be a great turnout. There isnt alot of shows and stuff that goes on in SC so everyone comes out to cruize the area and hangout in the parking lots. Colortyme is the location for this one which works out great because we have permission to be there so we have a spot for the whole day and night. I just got finished putting the trophies together for the car and truck show that we have going on tomorrow at Colortyme so if your around the area, be sure to come check everything out. Besides that, I have decided to offer posters on DropJaw which should be available within the next month.
