DropJaw At the Beach is back at the new and improved Myrtle Beach Speedway and will feature a fully classed out car, truck and bike show and this year we are bringing back the traditional post trophys. We are having a draggin contest, burnout contest, neon/led light show and the Miss DropJaw at the Beach Bikini Contest. DJ Disco will be spinning all day & night on the turntables. The stereo contest will also be running all day for all you bass heads. Awards will be held Sunday at 1pm in the Speedway spectator lot. Last year this show didn't get the shot that it should have with the Hurricane coming through on the very same weekend that the show was suppose to happen. And even though Myrtle Beach wasnt hit very badly, there were a whole lot of people up and down the east coast that wouldn't have been able to make it down. So we rescheduled it for Sept. and did what we had to do. The 2012 DropJaw at the Beach feels like the 2nd First Annual, since last years show got postponed. So come out to Myrtle for the weekend or maybe stay longer and get a little vacation time in down there. Myrtle is an awesome place with huge amounts of things to do. Its been a home away from home for me and DropJaw for many years now. Come check this show out....its a great atmosphere, the cruise strip is popping all weekend and there is endless amounts of things to do. DropJaw at the Beach!!!

BURNOUT CONTEST
The burnout contest at DJATB is a little different than the regular ones...here you can't sit still. You have to keep your ride moving the whole time you are burning out so it gives a little more to have to deal with. Only the strong and controlled survive here. The Best Beach Burnout will be awarded.

MISS DROPJAW AT THE BEACH BIKINI CONTEST & DROPJAW DJ DISCO
All day Saturday Disco will be bringing the ear candy to the show and later on that afternoon we will be bringing the eye candy with the Miss DropJaw at the Beach Bikini Contest, winner walking away with a fistful of cash and braggin' rights for a year.

DRAGGIN' CONTEST
Bring the draggers out to this one...there is plenty of room to lay it out and give the crowd what they came to see. This WILL be a big draggin' contest. We will be lining the draggers up at 7:30, right when its getting dark...perfect draggin' lighting. The Best Beach Dragger will be awarded.

NEON/LED LIGHT SHOW
The light show competition lineup will be at 7:30pm and judging will begin around 8. Once again we are bringing back the old school light show that all of us older show heads grew up on. A lot of people still do some serious lighting on their rides so this one should be interesting to see. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

DROPJAW'S NPSL STEREO CONTEST
The stereo contest will consist of car and truck classes and will go on from 12noon to 6pm. It is sponsored & will be handled on site by Nu Image Audio. All you bass heads, come out to compete just in stereo or enter the stereo and car show together. You will also be able to make as many passes as you want if you aren't satisfied with what you hit before. Noize Pollution Sound League...Hit It Till It Hertz!!

DROPJAW AT THE BEACH AWARDS
We have been getting trophies for our shows for many many years and have tried any and everything that is out there. From the full custom metal awards to the acylic sand blasted awards, the colorful plaques and of course the traditional post trophy that we all grew up receiving and still do at a lot of other shows. I love the variety that is offered at so many different shows these days and have totally enjoyed doing something different at some of our past shows. But this year for DropJaw at the Beach we wanna take it back to the original trophies....the big ones that stand tall next to you and sometimes are awkward to transport back home but no matter what, it makes it back safely so you can proudly display it with your collection. The post trophies, even today when I win them, takes me back to the beginning of when I started and how awesome it was to have that nice trophy in your hand. Which is probably why so many people that are just starting out in the scene, love to win those big awards. So this year DJATB will be going BIG!!!
